Friday 6/25 Aday

After our climb up Mt Everest yesterday, we needed to rest our tired body so we hung around campsite today and read, plan somemore of our route, cleaned and started to pack up. A nice laid back day for us and on the road tomorrow to head to MT.

Last nite we had many visitors on the hill behind our camper. A herd of elk with little babies too. They have no fear of people and got right next to me when I took the pictures. She was close enough that I could have touch her but I know better. The first picture has 2 elk in it and this is on our campsite.
Off to MT and no sure how much computer access we will have but surely will try to keep up with what is happening.
Onward to MT and to see Kevin at Glacier.

Finally some pictures

We are in ND now

We left MN on Monday 6/13 and it was one of the nicest days yet but we still had to leave to get onward to ND so we can make it to Kevin's house in MT by July 1. Driving to our campsite, all there is to see so far in ND is farm land and cows and not a lot of trees but miles of green grass. We got to our camp site, Beaver Lake State Park in Napeleon ND and there are some trees here which is a rare in what we have seen so far in ND. This is a 25 site camping area and we are the only campers here other then the hosts of the park. We are over looking a huge lake and there are tons of birds around b ecause there are trees here. Moe and I kayaked for a couple of hours this morning and Moe is out fishing now so maybe we will even have fish tonight. Today is another beautiful day (which we haven't haven't had many of) and we plan to go for a long hike after he catches our dinner.
So far all is great. We have stayed at some unbelieveable parks and mostly on lakes.
I now know why MN is called the state of 10,000 lakes cause it truly is and most of them are huge ones.
We stayed on Cass Lake in MN which has a big island on it and on the island is a lake so it's a lake within a lake, amazing.
We are heading to Theodore Roosevelt National Park tomorrow and hopefully stay about 4 days before we head to WY.
When we travel we are travelling, we are doing about 300 miles a day which doesn't seem like much but pull the camper is takes many hours.
So all is great with us and we are so enjoying our trip.
Since this is a new computer and once we transfer our pictures to it I will send some out to you all.
Miss you all
love
Mimi and Moe

We are now in WI

We have been on the road now for 11 days and we are in Wiscousin. Weather hasn't been the best since it's been raining alot since we left home. We have been hiking, biking and have kayaked a couple of times so we are staying busy. Today it's pouring out there and we are hoping that it will clear up and we will get some sunshire. All is well so far. We have been camping in some remote spots so our computer hasn't been working well. We have been going to libraries to read our emails and that is where I am now in the Park Fall Pulblic Libray in Wiscousin.
We are hoping to keep up with this blog and put some pictures in for you so you can see some of the beautiful sights we have seen. We are doing great and having lots of fun.
